6 Bellevue Road [March 2020: vacant]

From 1874 until 1950 this was Minnard the Bootmakers, a family business. It was then an antique furniture shop for a number of years, and then became a bookshop, Village Books. When they went out of business (thank you Amazon!) it became the American Dry Cleaning Co, until 2018 when it was a men's hairdresser, And Cut. Quite recently they left, and it was briefly Lucy's Laundry & Dry Cleaning, which closed at the end of February 2020.
